Hello all. Proud owner of a 2004 Chevy suburban, not so proud owner of an 2010 Chevy equinox! Like the title says, the service stabilitrac message comes up, the rpm gauge doesn't functIon, and it shifts roughly when the messages on the dash. I cleaned the throttle body and it was ok and then on the test drive the message came up and it started shifting hard. I went to get the codes read and there was about 15 transmission codes. My manual shift button hasn't worked for about a year before this problem. Every where I read, it's an egr valve, it's a throttle body, it's this and that, but there doesn't seem to be an answer for this. I'm going to pull my abs fuse tomorrow and see if it still shifts rough. We've had no transmission problem until this message hit my dash board. Please help?
