Default stalling

93 k1500 5.7l tbi 180000+ miles.ok strated running rough, miss firing loss of power and stalling when you stop. Then I change fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap rotor and iac.still will not idle.will start up and run for a few second and stall out.I can remove iac and it will idle, but put into gear and it will stall out.can hear fuel pump run.check engine light does not come on.tbi is spraying the teepee shapeof gas.check the tps and volts are right.

Default RE: stalling

ok,I got it to idle and runs pretty good no sputter or backfire.I put it in gear and it still idles,But when I drive up a hill it still acts like it has no power and it sputters and backfires.Ok quetion. If I take loose the fuel line to the tbi should there be pressure and fuel at that line. with key off and I did not releave any pressure off of it.it was about 10 min after I shut it off.I am going to check fuel pressure tomorrow how much should it be at the tbi and is there a differentsn pressurewhen driving. Is there away to check the fuel pressure regulator that is on the tbi. thank for your help in advance and sorry o long winded.

Default RE: stalling

I believe the TBI's run on around 12-15psi of fuel pressure.
