Default Strange noise

Hello all, new here to the forum. So here it goes. I drive a 2018 Silverado 1500 4WD, 5.3, Double Cab. I purchased this used Nov. 2018 with 13,000 miles. I noticed (about a month after the purchase) a noise (better heard) on the driver side (while idling), that the best way for me to describe would be like a short “shh shh shh shh”, approximately every second. I heard it best idling at a bank drive-thru when the noise would reflect off the wall. This noise can’t be heard while driving. My mechanic said he couldn’t find anything. To date, I have zero issues with the way the truck runs, but I am starting to think that something might crap out on me when I’m 1,000 miles away from home. Could it be something within the fuel line system? I’m lost. Thanks in advance!

still under warranty? Record the noise when you hear it best so mechanic can hear it.
BTW WELCOME to Chevy!
