Default timing 94 5.7

I have a 94 gmc sierra with 5.7,i just replaced intake manifold gasket. When setting the timing it says to put distributor in by pass mode by removing wire behind junction box cover. i assume the junction box is the one on passenger side on the fire wall. which wire there are several?

thought there is a brown wire behind the glove box. the last one i did there was the brown wire, but i can't remember what year it was. for the one i did you disconnect the brown wire and set it at 0
