Tranny swap
Hey! I've got an 04 Chev half ton. 5.3L, with the 4L60E. Tranny blew. Having a hard time finding another one. Finding lots of older trannys out of mid 90s-97, but I keep hearing from people that the 04 was a 1 year tranny. Also hearing that I could use 04-06 but nothing older. Aslo hearing I can use older trans but need different bolts and a bellhousing shim/adapter. Any people out there know for sure or who've done it? Could use some help!
