What would be required to swap my 4.8 in my 2007 Chevy 1500 classic to a 6.0

I believe all you need is a VVT delete kit for the 6.0, $120.00 from texas speed just bought one, and a tune on the computer. I hate sending people to other forums, but LS1forum.com has a lot of write ups on these type of swaps.


Now if you do that swap keep in mind the 6.0 has quite a bit more umph behind it. The next weakest link will show itself sooner or later. I know when I finish building my 6.0, I gotta start saving for a trans build.
