Default Using Cig/Aux for new stereo.

Howdy.

I'm trying to install a new radio into my 2002 Impala. I get that the old one is computer controlled, etc., so I'm down to where to put in the +12 switched volts. I know that the option is probably to use the CIG/AUX in the mail fusebox. So I have two questions.

If the CIG/AUX isn't the best way, I'd love to know what that best way is.

If the CIG/AUX is the best way, how do I actually tap into this? Take out the box? Locate the wire coming out of the box? Locate the wire and splice into it? Locate the wire and splice a relay into it? Simply shunt the +12 volt supply wire from my new stereo into the fusebox using the leg of the fuse??

Thanks much, in advance.
