Default Wheel Interchange

Can anyone help with a wheel interchange issue. I have installed disc brakes on my 1960 Impala and can no longer use the stock wheels. What later model 14 or 15 inch wheels from disk brake cars can I use? Did GM use the same bolt circle diameter on later models? Thanks for any assistance.

Call the company you got the brakes from they should be able to tell you what lug pattern you need, and how much off set the rim needs to be. If it is close you can use your rims and a spacer, but you need to be careful because your studs will be more prone to breaking. If you use a space do not use a thick one.

Thanks for the reply. The kit uses rotor and caliper from 69-72 Chevelle, therefore wheels from these cars will work. Finding them though is well nigh impossible. Pattern is 5X4 3/4. I have heard that there are later model (late 70's or 80's) GM wheels that can be used. Again thanks for your reply.

Pretty much all wheels from Chevelle and Monte Carlo thru 1977 will work. If You don't Have to keep it Just Chevy, then all Similar bodied cars ( Grand Prix, Cutlass, Regal, Etc. ) will work also.
