White smoke on start up

Exclamation White smoke on start up

I have a 2008 Suburban and when I start it, I noticed white smoke for about 30 sec to 1 min. after start up. I've read possibility of head gasket going bad. What should I do?

Check the coolant level, also the spark plug(s) that will tell you if you are getting coolant into the cylinders

Right! the 5.3 are known for cracked heads, usually the Coolant goes into the oil. But it maybe going into your cylinder or intake or exaust ports. remand heads are cheap. watch your coolant level.
