Default 06 Defrost Problem

Recently whenever I turn the heating controls to defrost the air continues to come out at my feet, no air whatsoever comes out at the windshield. The other parts of the **** works, for example I can tell it all feet, or all at my face, or inbetween. But if I turn on defogger or defroster it all goes to my feet. I *think* it is working fine though if you remote start it. Like this morning the windshield was all frosted over when I remote started it, and ten minutes later it was completely clear like it should be. However it could of defrosted from the ambient heat inside I suppose.

I pulled the heating controls out and checked the connectors, they were fine. I also checked to make sure that the pins of the connector wasn't up inside the connector
Any ideas?
