Default 08 SS Remote Start Bypass??
I have an 08 Impala SS with the factory remote start/alarm system. I am trying to upgrade to a Viper remote start, but am being told by quite a few people I would need to remove the factory remote start first. Is there some sort of bypass that I could use to not have to do this? Any help is appreciated

are you installing the alarm yourself? or just disconnect the power wire from the module

there is nothing you have to remove, or disconnect.
Just proceed with the install as if there were no factory starter.
