2002 heater blower speed

i have a 2002 impala, the heater-a/c blower speeds only work on 3-4 speed 1-2 dont. i have found the blower motor under the dash below the glove box but anyone know where the resistors are? i think its a bad resistor but if anyone else has any ideas please let me know.

You have to buy a new block resistor. The one you will get is a better version than the older model. It is sealed. I had the same problem with my 03 impala and By replacing this block it work fine now. At the dealer it cost aprx 65$. Be prepare to have a rough time under the dash as it is very crowdy and tight to work in that small area. Get some proper tools like a flex handle for your socket as there is no room for the normal tools. Otherwise with the compact sockets set and flex drive it can be done by a human . Good luck

Sorry the location is just above the fan. Pull the carpet and rubber mat out of your way to have a better view. Like I said it can barely be done by human. Also I took the passager seat out of there so I could lay down on my back to have some room. The smaller your body is the better you will enjoy the work.
