Default 2004 - Recall - Impala Ignition Keyring

just received our letter for our 2004 Impala Recall Notice -
concerning the infamous ignition switch problem.

The recall and "fix" is to insert a "filler" into the ignition key keyring slot,
and "add" a 2nd keyring to any existing keyring.
It would appear they are trying to merely adjust the physics of where the keyring is pulling down, and keep it from sliding around within the keyslot.

here's a link to the info, and photo of the keyring slot "fix" -
