2011 LT Buy gmpp or not?
Hi, so we got a new car..Yippie! Car already comes with 3yr/36000 bumper to bumper & 5yr/100000 powertrain...we keep them forever, 12k..+ yr. sp the max is 84mo/84k and almost 2k P/W motors go bad? A/C components? touch decision?

Easy decision. Don't waste your money. The odds are with you and you would have to replace a lot of stuff to pay for the cost. I have 84,000+ miles on my 08 and the total repairs have been a rear end alignment and front brake rotors.

Wow, that's good to hear. I hope they're making them all that good. I know I've seen alot of early/unusual failures when visiting a friend/tech at a dealership near me, though alot of that stuff would/should fall under the powertrain warranty I would think. I've almost always had them(ext warr) and have usually done quite well! Though it seems the 6yr-7yr- 80k-100k area is where it's all made up. Of course GMPP must know this since they either offer 6yr/100k or 7yr-84k. I like the 7yr-100k myself. I plan on finding more info. when he gets back from vacation.
