Thanks for the update. I did not know of the update.

They did work well on my j-body though.

I've looked into replacing my 10-13 year tires on my 94 f-body 16" rims last fall - man - just about every tire maker I knew 10-15 years ago has left the 16" 245/50r16...

blue ray metallic 2LTZ with the $3K nav option (dont you love forced option packages). fortunately i do want much of what is in the comfort pak but the premium audio needing to be purchased is just crazy. who thinks of these things? and you are forced to get a sunroof with the v6. something else i dont need for 1000 bucks. sigh.

39 list and i did truecar edmunds consumer reports and kbb. can buy it thru CR for about 36K so long as my dealer gives me that price ill be happy. just hate the back and forth negotiation crap. ill just ask for bottom line price. i dont need this car, just is something that would be nice to have.

love: most everything so far. remote link start especially and the heated steering wheel/seats. the customization of everything from passive lock to turning off that blasted chirp to arm the system is great. in the old days we had to reprogram the chips with a laptop lol. since it's so quiet you dont even know how fast you are going. i miss the borla exhaust of the SS but overall the much quieter car isnt bad. made it up the steep driveway in a small snow the other day with barely a flicker of the traction lite

hate: all the pillars are incredibly annoying. coming from my 95 SS this has what appears to be half the visibility even when doing simple things like making a turn. the left and right pillars and mirrors block things such as traffic islands and stuff. even on my everyday roads where i know these obstacles are this is disconcerting. you are more 'entombed' in this car. even the doors are 'higher' than the other car.

deciding: the shifting of this car is really different. I'm assuming it's the OD and i just have to get used to it. seats seem much firmer than the old car but maybe i just need to find the right position to sink into. the cockpit is defintely not as roomy as my old car but thats a boat i find my right leg up against the console. but it's a nice place to rest it.

6 speed auto... yeah different.

don't use the tranny as a break during break in period in manual mode.. that warning is in the manual.

i've used the manual mode to get up the rpms some, but then as soon as i have no more room, i just upshift to 4th and then 5th/6th. hard to do break-in in city.

i find it impossible to get my left arm on the window/door.

Went from a Buick Lucerne to a 2014Impala 2LT. Love the way the car handles, and the power of the 305hp V6. From there it was all downhill. The seats are extremely uncomfortable, especially for ashort person. The storage compartments are small and pretty much hold nothing. The radio and preset buttons are difficult to opeate. There is a glare on the video screen because there is no tint on the top of the windshield. The sun visor does not cover the side window completely. The headrests are too far forward, and force you to lean forward. The cloth in the cloth/leatherette seats is pretty much nonexistent. Then the worst of all is the center console and transmission. it takes up way too much room, and wastes too much space. Bring back the on the column shifter, and free up the extra space for more storage, and more comfortable legroom. I went from a Buick Lucerne because it was discontinued and The new Impala was a more full-sized vehicle with afull-sized trunk, which I love for the storage, but this is not a comfortable car to travel in. If they do not make some improvements in the future, then I will look elsewhere.

I don't know how short you are, but you want more leg room??? That doesn't make sense.

I'm going to guess you don't have the leather power 6 way adjustable seats?
