Impala While undergoing many facelifts in its history, the Impala has proved itself to both civilians and police forces as one of the most capable 4-door cars GM has ever offered. Currently moving towards its 10th generation the Impala is one of the longest lasting and popular models.

Default 2020 Impala

I was surprised yesterday when I went to my Chevrolet dealer to get a software update done on my Chevrolet Volt. As I was waiting for the service to be completed, I walked the lot. I was so surprised to see a 2020 Impala Premier on the lot in Crystal Red Tintcoat. It was a real sharp car. I went in to see a salesman and asked 2020?, I thought 2019 was the last year. He said there was a lot of parts left over to they are doing a limited 2020 run for Impalas with selected options and colors. The one I saw was fully loaded with the adaptive cruise control and all the bells and whistles.

That's good to hear. As someone old enough to remember the bigger cars, like the Impala, I will miss seeing any new ones. Times change, that's for sure. When I was a kid, station wagons were the thing, for larger families, but now it's smaller mini-vans and SUV's that rule. Perhaps Chevrolet could develop an electric or hybrid car and use that long-held Chevy-monikered vehicle once more?

And the Volt is a great looking car. I've never been in a hybrid or full-EV car yet, but I hear they pull out fast and I have seen lots of Volts passing by, while I was out driving,
