Default 3.8 valve adjustment

Hi, I've got a '02 Impala with the 3.8 motor. The head gaskets went bad, so I replaced them, had the heads re-done while they were off. It had a couple ticks when I finished, so I went back through and re-adjusted the valves, now it's got 1 tick that won't go away. Went back through the valve adjustment ( 11 foot-pounds then 90 degrees as per the book, blew out the pushrods to make sure oil was getting through ) still has 1 thats ticking. Anybody have any experience with this stuff?
Thanks, Phil

Possible lifter is stuck but try an additive before doing any thing else. I assume it is back together.

If you can pinpoint where it is, remove push rod, and with a telescoping magnet, remove, and inspect.

It is back together, have several hundred miles on it. It runs real smooth, no hint of vibration or misfire, the computer says I'm getting 30 mpg on the highway. Kinda hard for me to envision a bad lifter, but I'll run some flush through it and change the oil. My ears aren't as good as they used to be, so I can't pinpoint exactly where it's located.
