Default ABS Trac control issues

I keep getting the 1224 code and every time I start the car up and drive it these two lights come on. I dont like the ABS or the trac control is there any way just to unhook it and disable it? I heard its pretty expensive to replace!

If you get the code 1224, the problem is with the right rear wheel sensor. You need to ohm the Right rear wheel sensor. It should ohm out between 850 and 1350 ohms. Unplug it at each wheel and ohm across the 2 terminals on it. You can compare it to the opposite side. On the back, you can disconnect it at the connector that plugs up in the body behind the fuel tank and ohm it from there. Its a kind of hard to ohm at the back sensors. Just follow the wires up to where it plugs in the body. The right rear is the brown and white wire while the left rear is the red and black. The rear issue is the sensor most of the time. This sensor is part of the hubs/Bearing assembles.
