Question Door ajar & interior lights

I have a 2004 Chevy Impala that I bought new in 2003. It has 87,000 miles on it. Evey time I drive in the rain the DOOR AJAR light comes on and the doors unlock intermittanly. When I park it in my garage for a couple of days it is ok again. Today, after diiving in the rain along with the door ajar problem when I parked in my garage the interior lights would not go off for 10 minutes. What may be my problem? Can I fix this myself? I have nad no other problems whith this car. It has been a great Chevy. Thank You. Bill
