Default Front dash removal- Getting into Head Unit

Hello all, I'm trying to install a simple sound system (bass) in my 2008 Impala. I need to get into the stock radio head unit so I can hook up the RCAs and the radio wire. I've been looking all over the internet for some help on this and have found nothing. Hopefully this forum can show me. Thanks.

Default radio

If you tahe the trim panel around the Radio off(with a small flatblade screwdriver) and pop it off, then you can take the 6 7mm screws out. After you take the screws out you can tahe the Radio out and get to the connectors or whatever you need to do.Just be a little carful when pulling the tram off the passanger air bag lamp is at the top so don't pull the wires out
