GM called!
Everyone getsa GM survey when you buy a new car.
I added a page of comments, not the first time doing this
over the years.
This isthe first time anyone called to go over what I said though.
Maybe they are listening to their customers.

RE: GM called!
I was surprised they called as I only have a few very minor
complaints with the exception of the universal home remote.
I am very happy with my LTZ, everythings works properly
and after 2.5 months I see no need to have anything fixed
or adjusted. With my wife's 2005 Saturn Ion 3, GMseems
to be paying attention on the building of their cars.
May, the Ion will be two years old, other than a burnt out Phillips
light bulb, nothing has gone wrong or need adjusting. Years past this
would not have been the case as with my 2000 Impala.
Back to the Impala, I wouldlike to have had a lock and light on/in
the glovebox. I don't like the black dash top,the hottest part
of the inside of the car and its black, and shows any little dust.
I have a light gray interior, dash color should have beengray as well.
I find the outside mirrors too small compared to my 2000 Impala
LS.
What we spent most of the time on was the fact that when I could not get the Universal home remote to work there was no way of
getting any help as no one at GM knew who made the unit for GM
as it was no longer a Homelink. It was left up to me to figure it out.
Once I tracked down the new supplier, and I needed the conversion
module, I would have to order it directly from Lear.
Since this was a GM suppliedremote I told the ladythe conversion moduleshould have been availablethrough the parts dept.
As it was the parts guy didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
Once I received the module, installiation was quick and simple.
The lady I was talking to seemed interested and said she was taking notes.
