Odd problem
My wifes car is having an odd problem. its an 04 impala 130kmi it wont stay running. I can get it started with my foot in the gas a little, but soon as i take my foot out of the gas and goes to idle it dies. The fuel filter was changed cleaned the throddle body butter fly. Im kida leading to the throddle pos sensor. Any other advice would great. Also no codes.

did u locate problem? im not an expert on impalas but in general, this sounds like ur timing is set too low, adjusting timing higher will keep rpms up at idle so that it wont die.
if you have to turn it and run it exceptionally hot, to where engine is over running just to keep from dying you are looking at a more severe problem
