BTW, you may have to reprogram it. Not sure on that, but if it doesn't operate correctly, that will be the issue. Good luck! |
Thanks for your reply. The crankshaft part that i see online only has one 10mm bolt, why does this have 2 bolts? is a 2006 the same as a 2004? I cant find anything or any video that shows a 2006 impala crankshaft replacement or location.

Would the wire going into the crankshaft sensor have heat deflecting tape on it? and is the easiest way to take this our from underneath or the wheel well?

Me, I dont like removing the wheels unless it's a brake job, so as its near the bottom of the motor, I'd use ramps or jack it up on stands and use a creeper to repair it.. |
