I have a 2005 Impala that until recently stopped at the top of the windshield but now after a snow storm I turned them on and they only turn on on the high speed setting nothing happens on intermittant or on regular speed someone said it might be the switch but then another person said they wouldn't work at all if it was the switch PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPP

 

It is the switch. No good. Replace.

 

if it was the wiper motor, they probably wouldn't work at all. Being that they work on only one speed, like racerx said, its the switch.

 

Not true. I had the same problem with my 97 Blazer. There was a recall on the motor. I had it replaced an haven't had any any problems since.
