While driving on left hand curves and some slow speed left hand turns it sounds like a rubbing sound coming from the rear of the vehicle possibly the passenger side. Anyone have any ideas?

What year vehicle, tire size, and any mods??

 

Could be some well worn brake drums and a little axle play when you make the turn. I would start by checking the brakes.

 

Took the cover off today and apparently the previous owner that installed the new 456 gears did not tighten the bolts on the ring. This caused one bolt to back almost all the way out causing the noise. I put lock-tite on all the bolts and tighten them to specs. Luckily I caught it in time or it could have been real expensive.

 

Somethign similar happened to me in my ol' 81 F-250, the bolt holding the kingpin in slid out, axle kept locking up, it was horrible, But i paid 150 for a Brand new Dana 80 with a detroit locker.
