Default 2005 Malibu - electrical problem?

Had my car for 5+ years, but I'm concerned there is an electrical problem...
1. The cruise control is very random. Left switch always lights up but cruise may or may not engage. The green light on the instrument panel sometimes flashes on for about 1/2 second when I try the right button and then goes off completely. Usually it just doesn't come on, but I was VERY alarmed when it suddenly cut off in the middle of the interstate - twice in the same trip!
2. The clock randomly resets to midnight for no discernable reason. I understand from looking around various websites this is fairly common on Chevys but have yet to figure out how to fix it. Today it did something new - did the clock as well as changed my temperature display to celsius! I went through the menu, verified that it was still on English even though I never changed it, and flipped back to the home screen only to find that it was back on fahrenheit!
3. Brake lights are reversed...sometimes... At really low speeds, they and the backup lights, if I'm using them, just might not come on. Again, this happens... sometimes...
4. It can be SUPER HARD to shift out of park. This doesn't happen all the time but I have had to turn the car off and back on to release from park before. Usually it's a matter of pumping the brake pedal and/or pushing it down as far as I can hold it to make it release, but it's not supposed to do that!
My car still has pretty low mileage so it's not some beaten-up old thing that is just worn out. The clock and cruise issues have been happening most of the time I've had it. The shifting out of park is fairly new. These problems all seem tied together but never happen at the same time so I can't figure out a time frame or trigger. And yes, I have taken it to the dealer. Actually, it's been to 2 different dealers about 6 times total, maybe more. Once they told me there was nothing wrong at all; a couple times they did a minor tweak or two which obviously didn't fix it. The brake switch has been replaced at least once and maybe twice, I can't remember exactly. Pretty sure the cruise switch in the steering wheel has been replaced too. At one point there was some sort of service bulletin about pins in the center console coming unplugged (funny, they discovered the bulletin after I insisted there WAS something wrong), so they put some grease on there and told me it was fixed. Obviously that didn't work either. I know other people have had similar issues but people are usually told to take it to the dealer! 5 years, 6 times for service, and I don't have any more warranty left...don't really want to try that again "just to see"...
Any of you car people out there know what's going on? Many thanks if you do.

The bulletin for the brake light and cruise control anomaly is TSB #08-05-22-009. You're supposed to work a BCM connector (C2, J2, X2, the same thing) to rub off the fretting corrosion and then apply dielectric gel. There's another TSB, #09-06-03-004C, that basically addresses the same fretting corrosion on the other BCM connectors. You need to find another service department or reputable repair shop with staff that actually know what they are doing.

Would you please PM me your VIN number, so I can look into these issues further? Have you ever contacted Customer Service regarding these issue? If so, would you also send your Service Request number so I can look at your case?

I look forward to your reply.
