I recently bought my daughter a low mileage Malibu. I began having electrical problems immediately. The ABS and Brake light would stay on at random times and during this time, the fan and power windows would not function. The mechanic replaced the ignition switch and this seemed to fix the problem. Then within a week, the lights would pop on again at random, however, the windows and fan would work. The gas gage has spun completely around and is stuck under the "empty pin". The mechanic seems to think it was caused by a voltage spike. What could possibly be the problem here
