Default Battery Drain/Alarm system on 04 Z body Malibu

Hi all, I am attempting to troubleshoot a battery drain. There is a fast clicking noise that I believe is related to the alarm system. This is the 2nd time it has completely drained my battery. There is a fast clicking noise coming from the pass side trans tunnel where the body control module is located. I was guessing that the BCM was going bad, so I replaced it with a new one from the dealer and had them program it. Worked fine for several days and now went to start the car, and battery was completely drained. Put charger on it and the turn signals/flashers were blinking rapidly, which corresponded to the clicking noise on the pass side tunnel. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
