So I have done damage to my AC condenser and radiator and I am wanting to replace my radiator myself to save money and I guess possibly install the AC condenser but would like to take it to the shop to have it recharged and flushed, question is will it be safe to drive with the a new AC condenser installed or should I leave it uninstalled ?

 

Either way the ac system is probably dead, check the schrader valve (press the valve core) see if it still has a freon charge.

 

I'd pull the wiring to low pressure A/C switch out so you don't damage the A/C compressor. Its easier then pulling the wires to the magnetic clutch on many cars. Don't say what year of Bu' you have but it might be a good idea to chuck the receiver/dryer unit out as well.
