I have a 2010 Malibu LTZ 6-cylinder and am wondering if I can tow a 4x6 trailer from Uhaul on it. I am moving from Wisconsin to Las Vegas and need to bring my couch, desk and tv stand with me, as well as boxes in the box, and me and my fiance. Will this be an issue if I get a good trailer hitch hooked onto it? Should I go to a dealer and see what they say? I would only have this on it for about 3 days, and then would probably never use my car this way again. Please help

 

the max trailer weight for your vehicle is listed in the owners manual.

probably its between 1000 and 1500 lbs. the trailer weight empty is probably 500lbs. Its probably within the tow rating.
you would need a hitch installed and trailer wiring installed. check out etrailer.com for prices.
i would change the trans fluid when you are done...towing is considered severe service.
