I have a 2007 Chev Malibu, my keyless entry is not working properly, it can take up to 5 minutes at times to get into my car. I have changed the battery and been to the dealer who looked at it and it still doesn't work properly.
Does anyone know if I get a used remote from the wreckers can it be programmed to my car, and if so does anyone know the programming sequence to program it.
any information would be greatly appreciated.

if any of the buttons work, then it is probably the rubber boot covering the contacts. get on line and buy a replacement for about 13.00. To replace the whole thing is about 75.00
