Question Request: 5901 Viper Install Instructions

Hey everyone!
I own a 2004 chevy classic and Im looking to take on the task of installing the viper 5901 alarm and remote start system in my car but I am in need of some instructions. I figure most chevy cars would have similar instructions for the same features (I.e hooking up the trunk pop would be the same for my car as a tahoe for example) but I don't want to chance it. My biggest concern is that my bypass module will not perform the same functions requiring more wiring than the next guy.
(I say this because there are some installation instructions for a 09 silverado in the forums that I was thinking about trying to use.)

Now I am aware of all the warnings about doing this myself but I have plenty experience installing car audio equipment as well as high level circuitry knowledge (I am a senior engineering student) and I own and know how to operate a soldering iron.

Now for the real question
Can I use these instructions: https://chevroletforum.com/forum/sil...lverado-29015/
as far as wiring is concerned and if not what must I do differently?

Thanks for all replies!
