Starting Disabled Service Throttle

Hi, I have a 2015 Chevy Impala LTZ Limited, and it just read Starting Disabled Service Throttle. It shut down and wouldn't crank. Anybody know what this is, how to fix it, and what it cost? Thanks

Sounds like you have a problem with your electronic throttle control system. New cars dont use cables, they are "fly-by-wire". Make sure your battery is working real good. If it is OK you may need to replace your throttle control valve to fix this. I dont know what that will cost but it wont be cheap at a shop. Its probably covered under your warranty anyhow, if its still good.

As dumb as it sounds... Lock then unlock your doors. Mine did that as I was driving and lost all power. I googled it and it pulled up a different car but it still worked. Hope that helps a little bit.
