Selling our 2001 Chevy Tracker – a clean, rust-free little manual 4x4 with a lot of life left in her once she gets a new heart. Blue body, white soft top, and the iconic blue wolf spare tire cover that always gets compliments. This Tracker is a manual transmission and already set up for flat towing – we’ve been towing it behind our RV.

 

The body and frame are in excellent condition, but it needs a new engine – or at least major engine work. Two mechanics have confirmed it’s getting no compression, and a mobile mechanic found that the timing chain is broken, so we can’t go further in diagnosing any additional internal damage. If you’re mechanically inclined or have a donor motor, this is a fantastic project.

 

Recent maintenance:

New driveshaft (replaced July 2024)

New serpentine belt (replaced squeaky belt Aug 2024)

Reconditioned air filter (cleaned and re-oiled Aug 2024)
