Default 05 monte carlo gauges

in driving conditions speedometer,tempeture and rpm gauges do not work went i disconnet the battery all gages start working properly for 15 to 20 miles and the gages stop working again

Sounds like a BCM or cluster problem

I had the same problem in my 2003 Chevrolet impalaI found a website where I had my speedometer fixed for $95, They rebuild the entire cluster for $150. here is the address in case you wanna check it out: http://www.speedometergaugerepair.com
