Default 2002 monte carlo ss stalling..mechanic cant figure it out

2002 chevy monte carlo ss, 61,000 miles, no real problems before, changed the o2 sensor about 4 years ago.
Recently had water gettin into the passenger side, was just the gasket (fixed). Added steering fluid last week.last summer the cruise light was coming on, the overhead onstar was going out and the heat/a/c blower would shut, tried to change the ignition switch but couldt remove one of the harness' when i re attatched the ignition switch everything was working again. Assumed maybe just dirt on the contacts for the harness that was cleared when i messed with it and went on with life. About a week or two ago the cruise/heat/overhead problem re appeared (right after i was getting water in the car) and now just a few days ago the car started stalling when idle (in park,at stop and when slowing to make a turn). The car has been at my mechanics all week, they changed the iac and i believe the o2 sensor again but nothing and no info running a dyno. Theyre perplexed it seems. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - richie

Welcome to the forum. Anytime there's water intrusion, fretting corrosion on various connectors can become a real headache. See GM Techlink: August 2009 Archives.
