My 2005 Monte Carlo froze up on me this winter and when I finally got it started my low oil pressure light came on. I checked the oil and noticed it smelt like gas. I changed the oil and spark plugs, started the car and everything seemed to be working right till I went to start it the next day and it won't start again. In September I had a new fuel pump, filter, lines and a fuel regulator put in. But after all that work I noticed that my car was only getting 15 mpg on the hwy, I lost 8 mpg. If anyone might have an idea what is going on I would so appreciate some advice on what I need to try fix thanks for your time.
