04 silverado brake issue
I have an 04 silverado 1500 and I am having issues with the breaks. I have sent it to a mechanic that sat for 8 months because he couldn’t or didn’t have time for it but. This is what’s going on. I lost the brake pedal goes to the floor. The whole brake system have been replaced (booster, master, calipers, flex lines) I can reverse bleed the brakes from the rear and fill up the master cylinder. When I do the 2 person bleed after reverse bleeding, the fluid pumps out of the rear breaks and that it’s I get nothing but air. I have bleed the abs with a tool (I think) before doing the 2 person brake bleed. Could the abs block be bad that all the lines go to? I’m ready to light it on fire lol. I can do the 2 person bleed the fronts and have no issue plenty of fluid flowing with no air. While I’m typing maybe the proportional valve be bad? That’s the only thing not replaced. Thanks for any help

no I replaced all the items and drove it for over 3-4 months the last time I drove it the brake pedal felt a little hard after getting home and then the next morning the pedal went straight to the floor. The reason I took it to him was he replaced the Transmmision in this same truck and had it done it 3 days. But my mistake was i told him that I wasn’t in a hurry as I had another truck I could use. Well after multiple visits to his shop and listen to excuses I went on last Saturday and repoed my own truck back. I’m still waiting for him to call and ask if I have it. Lol

if you can't bleed the rear brakes and you have a p valve....get the $20 p valve tool and install it to open the p valve. the rears will not bleed properly without the p valve open.
forget reverse bleeding. open the p valve, bleed the system with a helper stepping on the brakes. then do a abs autobleed with the scan tool.
