Hey all! Nice to find this forum with so much great information. I am a recently separated wife who really wants to take the only toy from the marriage that ever interested me.
I'm trying to find pictures of my Cardinal Red 1966 shortbed to share here, so hopefully I will have them posted soon, if I can get it all figured out.
I'm looking for some advice on how to go about getting the gas tank replaced because my husband took it out so that he could put a better one on it.
Has anyone ever replaced a gas tank in an older truck?

gas tank is behind seat if i remember correct. usually taking out seat is easiest way. should be able to see straps that hold tank in. bolt tank in, get filler hose connected, done.
