Default Acronyms and Designations

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to put together a list of acronyms and designations of automobiles... yes, I'm afraid not just chevy ones :-) ... and their meanings... and I mean real ones not the jokey ones.

If anyone has any information I'd be *very* happy to hear from them pretty please with ***** on!!!

Just for now though.. Anyone know what LT LTZ and SS stand for at all?

Lisa

I have always heard that this is meaning...
LT - Luxury Trim (May mean "Limited" on some makes)
LTZ- Luxury Trim Z (partial Z-trim. Z71, Z28, etc.)
SS - Super Sport
LS - Luxury Sport

not sure if thats right.

Welcome to the forum!

Welcome Lisa. Never owned a real fancy car with one of those acronyms. Chevy Biscayne and B210 always meant cheap to me. Evansblue hit it pretty well too.
