Default Automotive student

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'm a automotive student specializing in GM just finish my first semester and I'm just looking for any advice or tips or any kind related to automotive repair.

make sure its what you want before you invest a ton of money in tools or training, have seen way too many guys rack up giant tool bills and only stay in the field for 6 mo.

disclaimer: I'm not a mechanic. From what I hear, study computer science.

The future of auto mechanics is digital. Mechanical parts will be replaced, not repaired, and computer troubleshooting will be key.

If you want to get an idea of shop life, try watching South Main Auto channel on Youtube.
