Bought a car...

Well I recently traded in my truck to purchase my wifes (hmmm, howd that happen) 2006 Imapala SS. This was a pain in the butt deal. I was simple and straight forward I was willing to give them my truck for an SS, and in return I would order two new trucks from them (one for me, one for Dad(dads paying for his own)). Apparently 6 dealerships thought I was joking. I just happened on upon an 06 about two weeks ago, and I thought well its april of 07, they've got to be willing to make a deal. After 2 hours of laberious negotiations (they said how about I pay them 500, I said NO, then they ok youve got a deal) I left minus a truck, but plus an impala. The truck was an 04 2500HD Duramax LT with 77000 miles on it. Ordered the new trucks and can't wait.
It would be awesome if the duramax came in other vehicles. Don't get me wrong this SS is fast, but my truck was A) faster and B) would dump black soot on poor unsuspecting victims (he he he he).

welcome to the board. Simple and straightforward doesn't always work with the sales staff you meet. Some just are clueless. I'm glad you found a sales person that had a clue. Congratulations on your purchase.
