Hi Men and Ladies
I am new to the forum.
In 2007 I bought a 1989 Chevy Suburban from a lady I know and have been a fan ever since. I mean why drive anything else. Luckily I only live 8 miles from my job and work 12 hour shifts so I just deal with the gas prices.
Recently I bought a 2003 Suburban alot of miles but its a very smooth ride.
I still would love to be able to keep and fix up my '89 but the transmission is shot and from what I hear that is about 1300.00 so I made the difficult decision to get something else.

When you buy something else with a lot of miles on it, you don't know what you are getting. You don't know how it was maintained. It might be good or not.
