I have a 90 Chevy PU that has developed a problem of wanting to die when coming to a stop. It has had a carb put on it. It don't smell like it's loading up or running to rich. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. If you post your question in the Silverado section of the forum, you will get more views and answers. If your truck has an automatic transmission and air conditioning, it might need to have an idle stop solenoid added to the carburetor if it doesn't have one. It will energize any time the air conditioner is turned on and increase the idle speed to compensate for the additional load of the compressor.
