Default Filling tank problem

I have a 06 Crew cab Silverado I just replaced the fuel level sensor (float) in the tank and now when i go to fill it the pump keeps stopping after 5 seconds, before I replaced the fuel level sensor I never had this problem. Any help would be grateful

Something is not allowing your tank to vent properly. Could be in the EVAP system somewhere.
