Default first timer with a 06 Silverado.

Hey everyone how was your Xmas? Great I hope. Anyway, I never been involved with a forum before so please be patient. My name is Sam and I live in the bluegrass state and I am having transmission overheating problems. It stared shifting hard and then the temp hit about 280 degrees. So I changed the fluid, filter and had it flushed. The temp was still hitting around 220 so I took it to a trans shop. Now after spending alot of money at the transmission shop ( tran rebuilt, new h.d converter, oil cooler and system flushed) the temp still runs hot between 220 and 230 degrees. The told me the its normal when pulling a machine for work. But it never when over 190 during the hottest summer days. I took it back numerous times with the same results. I am at a loss now. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? By the way the machine I use for work weighs around 4800lbs.
