Welcome to the Chevrolet forum! It'll be hard to get a good reference for any kind of shop in any particular area. This is an international site with widespread membership.

Welcome the chevroletforum. I googled for a bit and found this website with lots of reviews of transmission shops in georgia. Hope it helps.

From what I see, don't go with Mr. Transmission shops, bad reviews!

Welcome to the forum. Have you tried a local dealership, The level of training seems to be higher than most aftermarket shops. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum. Honest shops like you are looking for are rare and you usually find them by doing what your doing in your post, asking around. So be patient and keep looking, it takes time, but well worth it.
