Default Hello

Hello All,

I just joined this Forum.

I've been an avid car nut my whole life. However, I know next to nothing about V-8s and where this technology is today.

I recently "discovered" GTM's magnificent, mid-engine beauty, at the heart of which is enough room for just about any large displacement engine.

Given the prices of the cars I love, and how easily the GTM can blow them to smithereens at a fraction of the price, I'm looking into building one of these cars.

I, therefore, need a thorough education Re V-8s.

Any suggestions for books, articles, papers, posts, links, sources, experts, or favorite approaches/parts and sets ups that anyone cares to post or send over, would be appreciated.

(I know me. The engine research phase is likely to take the better part of a year. Then there's transmission issues, what's possible Re suspension, and the powwow with the woman in my life to see what we can afford before I make my final decision. Assuming internal combustion engines are still legal at that point, I'll then put the car together.)

Thanking you for your time and help in advance,

ThinkingGTM
