Hello all!
Hi everybody!
My name is Michael and I unfortunately drive a 1989 Ford Econoline every day. Now it has a bad head gasket or cracked head or cracked block or something like that, so it's time for something else - and I want a Chevy. Specifically a Tahoe. In my price range and to fit my needs I'm looking at late 90s tahoes with the 5.7 Vortec engine.
I actually have a 98 K1500 Silverado but it needs major work and has a paperwork problem preventing me from doing anything with it or driving it.
I'm looking for a Tahoe because I need the enclosed space (hence my Econoline van). I don't want another van because it's hard to park, it's noisy, and the engines are hard to work on. Also I would prefer to have space for more than one passenger if needbe. The trucks and truck-based SUVs are much safer, have a better driving experience, and are easier to work on. And you can't beat the driving quality of a Chevy as far as full size vehicles go.
