Default Hello from eastern NC

I thought I would introduce myself here first. I live in eastern NC near New Bern. I have lived and worked here all my life. My family loves to go camping. We have gone as far west as the Grand Canyon and north to Niagra Falls. Looking forward to chatting with everyone.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I did fill out signature now so everyone can see my rides.

Brent, if you rode the ferry across the Neuse, then you rode by my house on 306. My family has enjoyed the OBX several times also. Spent some time camping at campgrounds around Hatteras.

Gwampa, I have been to NM twice. I was going to visit the Caverns, but the day I was heading that way it was so foggy I couldn't see and time was crucial as I was on my way to see the Canyon so I had to detour and head back NW toward the Canyon.

Never ridden a ferry across the Neuse, but I have fished it more than once by boat.

The specs are biting and a few 2.5 to 3 lb. spanish have been taken also. Went fishing yesterday evening, but it was a little slow. A couple of weeks ago I caught 6 nice black drum (around the 4-5lb range).

Thats not too bad at all. I love drum fishing. I caught a 7lb'er at the Lejune Bridge at Sneads Ferry last time I went. The Spadefish were biting really good around the bridge too.
I wish I could get a chance to go down there sometime soon. This coming weekend will be the only time I have between now and

I actually live about 2 miles from the mid/northern part of the Neuse. About 30 miles north of the Cliffs. Just as a curiosity point
